Mother's Day 2008
We celebrated Mother's Day with our family in good ole' East Texas. On Friday we went to Marshall and visited Chad's family. We got to see Chad's parents, grandmother, Uncle Leonard, his brother and sister-in-law, and our niece Pamela. Then on Saturday we saw my family in Kilgore (too many to list). My great aunt and uncle were in town with their daughter and son-in-law and grandson (Ezra). We had a big barbeque that afternoon and had a great time visiting with each other. Jackson played in the grass for the first time. He thought is was very interesting and kept pulling up grass. When you would take it away from him, he would get mad and start crying. I think my son may have a slight temper. :) On Sunday I received two new shirts and a beautiful new watch from Jackson (Chad did a good job picking everything out). That evening we went to BJ's restaurant and had one of my favorite meals (spinich & artichoke pizza and a pizookie). Could not beat that. I hope everyone else had a great Mother's day.
