A couple of weeks ago, we visited Chad's family in Marshall. While we were there we took Jackson and Pamela to Chimp Haven. This is a place out in the middle of nowhere in Louisiana that is a refuge for chimps. There were at least 30 chimpanzees roaming around the pine trees, of course their area was fenced off. Really Jackson and Pamela did not pay the chimps any attention, but it was neat to say we took them out there. Maybe when they are a little older they will enjoy it more. Although Pamela did like watching them eat. You can barely see some of the chimps in the background of our pictures.
