Jackson's 2nd Birthday
Part 2
So what else did we do for Jackson's birthday, you ask, after all the stuff we already did? Well, we had a big family party in East Texas (about 45 people). My great grandmother (that's right, Jackson's great-great grandmother) has a wonderful big backyard with a pool, swing set, and a playhouse. The weather was just right too. Jackson is so much into Mickey Mouse now, that was the theme of the party. We had hot dogs for lunch ("Hot Dog, Hot Dog, Hot Diggity Dog"), opened presents, ate cake, then swam. Jackson had the best time. He just ran all over the place all excited that everyone was there to play with him. Forget about taking a nap that afternoon. There was just too much for a this little boy to do. We were so happy with the way Jackson's birthday turned out. Chad, Jackson, and I are extremely blessed to have such a wonderful, loving family. Thank you to everyone for sharing this special time in our son's life.
